Owner, Wedding Planner & Florist

Sylvia is a natural organiser with a keen eye for detail. Planning parties and events has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Sylvia wants to use her gift of hospitality, creativity and planning to bring people together in an environment where they can celebrate the special moments in life!

She is a hardworking individual with lots of creative ideas; a natural leader who will take charge in any situation. Being very strong administratively, she makes a great event organiser. She has conceptualised and successfully executed over 100 weddings and functions and is known for her variety of styles and new ideas. She believes that creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then assemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility.

Sylvia has a National Diploma in Hospitality Management and work experience in various fields of administration, finances and management. After working at Disney World Florida, she returned inspired, believing “If you can dream it you can have it!”


About Lisa-Mari

Owner, Wedding Planner & Florist

Lisa-Mari is a hard working individual with a sense of responsibility beyond her years. She has a passion for the hospitality industry and believes that Events create the opportunity to offer a warm and welcome feel to all  by using her creativity and love for people.

Lisa-Mari is a natural leader who will take charge in any situation; her leadership skills advanced during her time as Head of the SRC when studying Events Management. She can think on her feet and find solutions in difficult situations.

Lisa-Mari has an Advance Certificate in Hospitality Management and is currently completing her Diploma in Events Management from the Private Hotel School in Stellenbosch. As part of her studies she got to work at the upmarket Lanzerac Hotel as well as assisting Armand Aucamp with cooking from his cookbook “Armand Kook Kaal” for the annual Woordfees. She will be doing her final internship with Special Events with her focus on floral and décor design and wedding planning where after she will be taking over the management & ownership of Special Events as from 1 January 2022.
